  Me and my boyfriend were staying at the Hotel cartago Nova across the road from here.. and every night we liked the look of this bar/restaurant so we thought our last night we would come here for some food and a drink.

  Seafood was very good at this fun, informal place on the beach with a tiki bar decor. Don't be put off by the amateur photos on the menu with odd colour printing, this place is a little gem, and we had dinner here a few times during a visit. Service is fast and friendly, and it feels family run. The grilled sea bass was particularly good. You can finish off dinner with a sheesha pipe of flavoured tobacco, and the whole back of the restaurant opens right out onto the beach, which keeps the place pleasantly cool in the evening. Kids will enjoy the little grove at the road entrance, with painted VW beetles and a fountain full of terrapins.

  Really relaxed and nice atmosphere. Always had a great time there. The staff is really friendly and considerate. They offer great cocktails and hookahs for really good prices. Absolutely beautiful to sit at the beach in the evening.

  As we got there we had amazing service, I can't fault that. But the food came very quickly, which in most cases that's amazing.. But in this case it wasn't... we ate our food and paid for the bill and left. From that night we had awful cramps in our stomachs and we didn't think anything of it. But as we woke up the morning after we could not stop throwing up bits of pizza and meat from our pizza that we had from this restaurant ... 5 days on now, we have food poisoning..... I was reading the reviews and thought this place was going to be amazing. I definitely won't be returning here when I come back to Malgrat de Mar.
